Fishing Trip

In 2019 , we took our maiden voyage to Ty’s Reef aboard the Dixie II. Ty’s Reef is a man-made reef created when Ty’s family sank his replica 16th century Spanish Galleon in his memory.

We chose this destination because the person for which it is named after was a young man who shared many attributes of our athletes. Ty was a one of kind free thinker and artist who didn’t let social norms constrain him. He embraced life and welcomed all with open arms. Challenger Athletic is all about welcoming all with open arms embracing the life we were all given. We look forward to taking many more trips to the reef with our athletes!
